Parameter notes
Requesting a related object with multiple layers will automatically include the parent layers in the response.
Example:
meta_skills.skills.tags will include meta_skills, atomic skills and the tags for the atomic skills without having to also specify meta_skills and meta_skills.skills
Requesting an additional field for atomic skills will add the field only if the related object is also requested.
Example:
meta_skills.skills.external_id will be added to each atomic skill only if a related object containing ‘meta_skills.skills’ is also requested.
Requesting multiple hierarchies of related object is allowed but will increase the duration of the processing considerably.
Example
meta_skills.skills and skills can be requested together and will result in a separate object for each of them, one containing meta skills and they're underlying atomic skills and another one containing atomic skills. This requires the extraction of atomic skills twice and impacts response time. Adding additional related objects and/or fields will increase the response time further.
